38 miles west of Durango, a mile down a dirt road, past the Bright Star campground, on a dilapidated farm, at the base of a towering mesa (Mesa Verde National Park) is a humble cottage with a magnificent view.

 

After a lifetime of producing major Las Vegas shows and running world class restaurants, and a famous distillery, Bryan Davis and Joanne Haruta (your hosts) settled here and began slowly building something new, by hand.

In this cottage we make chocolates from our favorite things.  Like Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee, Mariage Frères Tea, Laphroaig Whisky, and chocolate sourced from tiny co-ops in the Esmeraldas Province and Manabi Province of Northern Ecuador.   We serve these chocolates in a myriad of artistic and creative ways.

Some of the curios are straight from history books, like a magic trick designed by Nicola Tesla, and a long forgotten magazine that proves Thomas Edison built machines to talk to the dead. 

 

We don't want to give away all the surprises.
